Tilt semi-trailers

Tilt semi-trailer is a type of closed box semi-trailer built on the basis of a flatbed semi-trailer complemented by a tilt on a rigid frame.

For production of the tilts for cargo semitrailers, awning fabric of medium and high density (about 630-950 g/m²) is used. This material has a lot of advantageous features: it is cheap, relatively light-weight (which makes the entire body lighter), easy to use (no need to color, easy to clean, not prone to corrosion), moreover, all the necessary images and inscriptions (logos, advertising slogans, contact details, etc.) can be easily put on this tilt.

The construction of tilt semi-trailers enables loading and unloading from three sides. Moreover, when necessary, it is possible to dismantle the tilt and in this way to obtain a regular flatbed semi-trailer. Depending on the model, these semi-trailers may have hinged double doors in the rear wall, rigid front wall, special curtain mechanisms to move one or both side walls, rigid or sliding roof (the latter option creates the possibility of vertical loading with the use of a crane).
